Google Translation fail..

Now we know we are having some guests who don't really speak English that well (particularly the Spanish ones) . So we have translated some things (like invites and RSVP form into Spanish) ... but it it wouldn't be feasible to translate this entire website. 

Hence putting in a Google Translate button seemed like a good idea. It's not going to be perfect, but automatic translation has come a long way. Although the stuff that it spits out mostly sounds odd and awkward, it would be enough for somebody to get the gist of what is being said.

That was my thinking anyway... I had a go trying out a German translation and that didn't really make much sense. Judging by Sarah's reaction to the Spanish translation Google Translate came up with, I don't think it was any better.

So if you are up for some giggles, I suggest visiting the "About us" page and using the "Translate" link at the top left of the page. It has Sarah in hysterics :-)
